Woot! Bag of Crap - Christmas 2006
I was lucky enough to snag one of woot.com's famous "Bags of Crap" on Christmas day 2006. It arrived today, January 8, 2007. For $3 plus $5 shipping and handling, I got three units of "random crap" -- but my bag (box) of crap actually contained 41 items!
Snow in Seattle!
It's very rare to have snow in the city of Seattle, but after two days the white stuff actually started to accumulate. The city, in turn, went CRAZY. Here's just a few of the sights that in any other city I've lived in would be mundane.

Johns Island 2006
On Saturday, August 12, I went up to Johns Island in Washington's scenic San Juan Islands. My uncle Bob booked a seaplane to bring himself, my aunt, my cousin Jessica, and me to visit my cousins Bobby and Lucas at Camp Nor'wester (www.norwester.org).
