Background

Since November 14, 1996, the domain "weill.com" has been registered. For that entire time, the same construction message has been displayed, in French (view translation). However, of late I've become interested in getting a domain name, and weill.com seems as good as any. So, I encourage you to watch and see how things turn out as I try and transcend a language barrier and claim an otherwise unused domain.

Why not choose a different domain name?

Well, that question should be directed to Philippe Brami and Frank Flipo, and the others in charge of weill.com. They also own weillparis.com, and have been letting it sit idle just as long. Surely weillparis. com will serve them just as well, and they already own it. weill.org, weill.net, and other "alternative" domain names are available, but I'd much prefer to have my last name suffixed with the popular "com" name just for ease of use and accessibility.
